Angers Sporting Club de l'Ouest (Angers SCO) is a French football club based in Angers, founded in 1919. They play at the Stade Jean Bouin and were promoted to Ligue 2, the second division of French football for the 2007/2008 season. They also played 23 seasons in Ligue 1, most recently in the 1993-94 season. Their best finish was 3rd, achieved in the 1957-58 and 1966-67 seasons. They also participated in the UEFA Cup after finishing 4th in 1971-72 season.
